On March 26, 2024, the AIDA – Albanian Investment Development Agency, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Albania and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, orchestrated the Albania – Czech Republic Business Forum. Swiss Albanian Chamber of Commerce was glad to be part oft this event, which served as a testament to the shared commitment to enhancing economic collaboration and exploring bilateral avenues for fostering partnerships and attracting new investments.
Welcomed by key figures including Mr. Blendi Gonxhja, Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Mr. Jozef Sikela, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Mr. Ami Kozeli, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, and Mrs. Laura Plaku (Saro), Executive Director of AIDA, the forum highlighted Albania’s diverse investment potential and the government’s ongoing reforms ensuring investment security and protection. It also spotlighted strategic sectors ripe for investment.
The forum concluded with a series of B2B meetings between Albanian and Czech companies, aimed at exploring concrete cooperation opportunities and fostering future partnerships.
