It’s January, and once again the small town of Davos in Switzerland is buzzing with activity as it hosts one of the most important global gatherings of the year.
World leaders from government, business, science, and civil society, representing more than 100 countries, have come together at the World Economic Forum to exchange ideas, address pressing global challenges, and help shape priorities for the future.
Under the theme “A Spirit of Dialogue,” this year’s meeting focuses on collaboration in an increasingly complex and contested world. Key discussions will explore new sources of sustainable growth, investments in people and skills, the power of innovation, and ways to build long-term prosperity for societies worldwide.
Switzerland is officially represented by the Swiss House, which plays a central role in the event. It promotes Swiss foreign policy interests, highlights the country’s innovation and expertise, and serves as a platform for high-level discussions, partnerships, and meaningful networking opportunities.
