The Swiss Embassy in Albania marked a new chapter in the Swiss-Albanian partnership with the official launch of the Swiss Cooperation Program 2026-2028.
Through this program, Switzerland will contribute 58 million CHF to Albania, focusing on three key areas: strengthening democratic and inclusive governance, supporting economic development and employment, and advancing reliable infrastructure services and climate resilience.
This new phase builds on a long-standing relationship of more than 30 years of Swiss-Albanian cooperation, during which Switzerland has invested over 500 million CHF in the country’s development. The Swiss Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Albania’s progress and its European integration journey through this continued and deepened partnership.
